...a memory from Rick Schwartz:
I'm 73 and live in Crete, IL. In 1963 I spent some months at Monmouth College in Illinois. I didn't much catch on with the place and left to join the navy in early 1964. But in my short time there I had one grand memory. One Sat. night there was a dance in what I remember was a dining hall type building. I didn't go to dance, just see what it looked like. I pulled up a folding chair to see what the band was like. I stayed the evening mesmerized by Eugene Neal and the Rocking Kings. I stumbled onto your website, and decided to leave this note. Unforgettable.
