  I also worked with Jeff Buchman as his recording engineer at Sugar Creek Records (8 track studio in Fenton)  
  Head East later acquired the studio and used it for their rehearsal space for their last tour with John Schlitt and later for demos for A & M records for their last album with them "US 1" .  I believe that was around 1982 and I engineered for them at practices and played/wrote a little bit on the album recorded at Long View Farms, just outside of Boston.
 
  Currently I live in Gilbertsville Kentucky and have a studio (like everyone else), play guitar regularly at church and banjo at as many bluegrass jams that I can find and just turned 60 this last May.

1964-1984 Performed drums and vocals in many STL bands around town including, The DuPrees, We The People, Three Easy Pieces, Daybreak. Porpoise and Mirage. I played with some great musicians in our city.

1985 Moved to Los Angeles to be a studio session drummer until 1994. Invented "Extreme Isolation Headphones" in LA and received 4 US Patents and Trademarks for his hearing protection studio headphones for musicians. Ran the business in St. Louis County (American Made) until late 2016 selling in 23 countries and 600 music dealers. Headphone endorsers include, Rascal Flatts drummer Jim Riley, keyboardist Jay Oliver and drummer Dave Weckl, Beach Boys, Chicago, drummer Virgil Donati, Jason Aldean's drummer Rich Redmond (John received a platinum album for his help on Jason Aldean's "My Kind of Party" album), Peter Keys of Lynyrd Skynyrd , Jay Leno's drummer, Marvin "Smitty" Smith, plus thousands of keyboardist, guitarist, bassist and vocalist use the headphones. John was one of 40 lead singers with the St. Louis based 160 member "Ambassadors of Harmony" International Championship Gold Medal singers from 2001 -2004. John sold the headphone business in 2016 to retire, play drums and travel.
